Check out the slide show at the very bottom of the page! Sweetheart's Dance was on Saturday, February 7th and Ashley (who is staying with the Ormsby family) asked Jacob to be her date. Sarah went with her cousins and some additional girl friends and asked Parker Peele to be her date. Donalynn and I were serving dinner at Lynn's house so we were pretty busy getting the cooking, cleaning, decorating, and flowers done and I wasn't sure I would have time to embarrass Jacob by taking tons of photographs when I dropped him off. I am so glad I stayed to take pictures! Jacob is about as difficult to photograph as Big Foot because he always makes a face, puts up a hand, or turns away whenever he knows the camera is pointed his direction. I haven't been able to get a picture of what he is really like since he was about 5 years old; that is until now! Hallelujah, he was too polite to make a scene in front of the Ashley and the Ormsby's so he let me take lots of photos; you can really see his personality in these pictures. Sarah was really disappointed in her photographs. With a group of 12 it was very difficult to get everyone looking good at the same time. She doesn't read this blog so I am going to post my favorite picture of Jacob and the funniest picture of Sarah and her date (Parker is a nice boy but in this photo he looks like he's possessed - it's too funny). Sarah won't let me put up a slide show of her pictures because she felt she was pulling a funny face or her hair was blocking her date or his eyes were closed or whatever. I don't know what Sarah is complaining about. She looks ravishing! All the girls in her picture look beautiful. I, too, thought the pics. of Jacob and Ashley were terrific! Ashley keeps talking about how much fun Jacob was. She thinks he has a wonderful personality and is SOOO much funnier than she knew!
Jacob is a laugh riot (in my unbiased opinion)! I have a hard time correcting him when he is behaving badly because he does things to make me laugh while I am giving him a lecture.
I love the pictures. Jacob is a funny kid, I'm glad he composed himself and let you take pictures of him. Cute, cute kids.
Hey Lisa! I am so excited I found your blog! Can I just tell you I cannot believe how beautiful Sarah is? She really is gorgeous! And she is a sweetheart too. I love being in YW with her! And Justin loves Daniel, he cracks me up! You have such a cute fam!
