Watching my own slideshow of the sweethearts dance I cannot believe how grown up my children are! Where did the time go? It felt like I was pregnant, nursing, and changing diapers for a decade. Once upon a time I thought I would never be able to leave the house because babysitters were too expensive and these busy babies would never grow up. Now Jacob is in his senior year in high school, Sarah is a junior, Daniel is a freshman, and Joshua is finishing 6th grade. They're kicking my baby - Joshua - out of Primary next week. Who ever heard of a 12 year old baby?? I miss my chubby, precocious, rambunctious, funny little children. I am amazed at the completely FANTASTIC people they are ALL becoming (lucky lucky lucky me). Why can't they continue to grow up but at a much much slower pace?? I'm really not ready for any of them to outgrow the nest quite yet.

Thanks so much for reminding me to enjoy my small children because like you said it goes by tooooo fast!!!
We already feel like our children our growing up too fast so I can imagine how you must feel! I remember tending your children with Kent when we first met and now they are tending our kids! You really do have great children.
Oh Lisa! You do have such great kids! I was so impressed with Jacob yesterday when he spoke...especially when he bore his testimony. You can tell how much the gospel has been instilled in him and how much it means to him. I hope one day I can say the same about my children. Thank you for your example to me!
Now my face is leaking, too! My baby is 6 and I can't stand it. I get teary-eyed every time I think of him going to school all day. We can leak together!
