Spring

"Never cut a tree down in the wintertime.  Never make a negative decision in the low time.  Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods.  Wait.  Be patient.  The storm will pass.  The spring will come." - Robert H. Schuller

Very wise words, wisdom that I have to chant over and over again when I am stressed and want to lash out with a knee-jerk reaction and a hasty rash decision.  "The spring will come."  Oh, I hope so, I really do hope so.  We're living through some scary times and hearing about trouble others are having or watching the news just makes our own position feel so fragile and precarious.  We could all use some clear blue skies, a warm and gentle breeze, spring flowers, green grass, a pic-nick with friends on a sunny fun-filled afternoon.  Faith, courage, hope, patience, peace - we all have our trials and with Heavenly help we can see them through!  "In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths." - Proverbs 3:6

Thank you for this post. We all need to hear these things! I know I feel like a dark cloud is hanging our me. I am frightened by everything I see and hear. I hope life is getting a little easier for you.

It does seem like a scary time we are in. It's hard not to focus only on the bad things that are happening right now. But those are very encouraging words and thoughts that can help us through this time.
