I have to given Elizabeth Tongi tons of credit. I don't know how she does it but I really appreciate her courage posting her weight loss efforts and results on her blog; she is inspiring! I've been watching the neighbors shrinking all around me and I think I should do something and try to follow their example. Over the years I have tried so many plans - and failed to follow through - that I've just about given up altogether. Recently Lynn, my sister-in-law, started a program that is working really well for her and I have decided to give it another go and try the program she is using. I don't want to say what the program is at this point because it feels a little bit (a lot bit?) foolish and I don't want to lose courage in the face of potential criticism. Lynn's only in her second week and she is looking thinner AND healthier which I find very encouraging - it's enough to entice me to take a chance and try it. I'm supposed to start today. Following Elizabeth's brave example I am going to post my results here periodically. Fingers crossed that the results will be good, consistent, and lasting.

Yay Lisa!!! I'm really not brave.....the blog just helps me to stay accountable to people!!
I'm excited for you! Oh and .....I'm sure your plan is going to work great, but......if you ever decide to change your program...come do WW with me and Shannon!!! We'd love you have you! :)
Good for you. It is always easier to do it with someone else. Good Luck!
You can do it! I think you and Elizabeth are both brave. Maybe this can take your mind off all the economy crud and focus on something else!!
You are pretty brave. A lot more than me. I am to afraid to fail....AGAIN. Good luck and you are amazing
Good luck! You are very brave! You can do it!!!!
Dear, dear Lisa. I tried and failed so many times I gave up for four years. Then I finally found a plan that worked for me. I was able to lose 65 pounds on it. And I have kept off most of it. I fluctuate about 15 pounds. Keep trying. Eventually you will find something that is right for you. And I think you are awesome for your willingness to share with all of us as we all love you!
Good for you! I'm excited to see your progress. I love hearing everyone's stories...it is so motivational and inspiring. You can do it!!!!
BTW...I was thinking of trying to schedule VT. What do your next two weeks look like?
vorcubTried to call you today to see how you are doing and feeling. You were out, but maybe I'll call tomorrow and see. You are an inspiration to me. I'm excited to see how you do with this and very importantly - how you feel while doing this program. I'm praying and pulling for you. Love ya!
Go Lisa!! Love ya sister.
