Another Prom

Wow.  We survived another prom!  These dances are a lot of fun and a lot of work.  Hair, nails, shoes, jewelry, boutonniere, alterations to make the dress modest (that was the biggest hurdle this time around), pictures, curfew negotiations, post-dance interrogation (what did you do for the day date? who had the highest bowling score? did you have fun? how was dinner? who was prom queen? how was the movie at Austin's house?), waiting up to make sure your child makes it home safely and on time, etc.  Whew!  Makes me tired just remembering.  This time doing the hair went better than it has in the past - more smiles no hysterics.  The next dance is on April 10th (the Itineris Celebration Ball - it's formal) and this time Sarah is going to borrow a dress from her friend (yeah - no alterations!!).  The coolest thing ever is that Tiffany Garcia (my neice - Sarah's cousin) was Junior Prom Queen 2009 for Copperhills High School!  She is the sweetest girl ever and even though she is also absolutely gorgeous she was definitely chosen because of her angelic and loving character.  You cannot help but love this girl and we are thrilled for her.

Off the subject - I've lost 16 lbs. so far.

What a lot of work! I do want one daughter, but I think it's all I can handle. Heavenly Father knows that and that is why I only have two boys at this point! LOL
Congratulations on your 16 lbs lost!! That is way exciting! And it is coming off so fast for you. Are you ready to tell what you are doing???
