Save $36 - cut the hAiR at home!

Does it mean your child is maturing when they request that you cut their hair instead of fighting with you to let it grow into a burning bush?  Jacob used to insist that we let his hair grow and it was looking pretty bad.  You know it's bad when the Bishop is commenting on your sons hair from the pulpit on Sunday.  Jacob has since decided that he wants it nice and short and it has been kept that way for just over a year now.  Daniel, however, is another story.  He thinks his hair is just the right length when it's long enough that he can wipe his nose with it.  That is his criteria not mine.  Saturday morning Jacob requested a trim and Joshua volunteered that he was ready to do likewise but Daniel had to be argued into it.  I didn't take off nearly as much as I would have liked to because I want him to come around again for another trim in a couple of weeks.  Scalping your clientele seems to be counterproductive to generating return visits.

The after is wonderful! You can see his handsome face so much better and his twinkling eyes. I was going to say - you can see his gorgeous smile too - but in light of yesterday's fun and games, maybe I should leave that one alone.

Good luck with that! You could always threaten them to come visit uncle Kent with his clippers and give them a nice short haircut!!
